Experience:

Lawyer Xie graduated from Dalian Maritime University in 2002 with a master degree in international economic law(Maritime Law) and was supervised by Professor Fu Tingzhong who’s the former associate dean and PH.D. candidate tutor of Tsinghua University’s Law School. Since the beginning of his master's degree, Lawyer Xie has published many papers, translations and professional articles on maritime affairs and international trade in national core academic journals.

Lawyer Xie is a member of both Guangdong and Guangzhou Leading Talent Pool of Foreign-related Lawyers. He has dealed with hundreds of cases involving maritime, admiralty, international trade and insurance, etc..He has received several Thanks Letters from his customers for his brilliant service about handling foreign-related cases. Some typical cases represented by Lawyer Xie were elected and published by the supreme people's court’s bulletin. Moreover, Guangzhou Lawyer Association has confered Business Achievement Awards to him for many times. In 2018, two cases arising from the disputes of ships’ sales contract were reported by the CCTV program Arbitration in China. In 2019, the case relating to  vessel collision was selected as one of the "Top 20 Typical Cases of Cross-border Disputes in the Greater Bay Area" released by Guangdong Province’s Higher Court.

In the financial field, he used to act as the lead of the lawyer team, represented Guangdong Branch of China Development Bank and Guangdong Branch of Bank of China (syndicate) as the largest creditor, and participated in the bankruptcy, restructuring and liquidation of two Taiwan-funded enterprises in Dongguan City with an object of more than 6 billion yuan. In 2018, the case was selected into the Top ten Typical Cases of Guangdong Province’s Higher People's Court on Hearing  Bankruptcy Cases in Accordance with law to Promote supply-side Structural Reform. The provincial court evaluated that "this case is a typical case of successful reorganization through the linkage between the government and the court, which maximizes the advantages of bankruptcy reorganization procedure in saving valuable private enterprises, protecting financial creditor's rights and helping local industries, and effectively maintains financial security, economic development and local stability".

In the field of foreign-related insurance, lawyer Xie has represented all kinds of cases and achieved good results. For example, on behalf of a famous private manufacturing and Export Group in Guangdong Province against an insurance company in the United States (the subject matter of the case: 3 million euro), the case was fully settled, and its results has had a certain impact on the performance of the relative term of the American insurance company in China.

Over the years, Lawyer Xie has also accumulated rich experience in real estate, construction projects, companies and other civil and commercial cases.
