The mediation case he handled was elected one of the Top 10 mediation cases of Guangzhou Courts.

Lawyer ZHANG focuses on providing foreign legal services. He has provided long-term legal advisory services to several multi-nation companies and foreign capital enterprises. From 2016 to 2017, he also provided legal consultancy service to Guangdong Airport Authority for hosting World Routes 2018. From 2017 to 2018, he engaged as an expert witness on the PRC law and provided depositions in the Federal Court of California in the U.S. From 2018 to 2019, he provided legal services to a state-owned company for a cooperation project with a well-known company in the U.S. Moreover, Lawyer ZHANG has provided foreign business training to lawyers in Guangzhou, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Jiangmen, Huizhou and Zhuhai.

Lawyer ZHANG participated in the ICC International Commercial Arbitration Practice Training Program in August 2018. After that, he participated in International Arbitration Training Program at BPP University in October 2018. In March 2019, as the sole representative of China, he participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program on “Rule of Law and the U.S. Judicial System” organized by the U.S. Department of State. In November 2019, as the representative of Guangdong Lawyers Association, he visited leaders in politics and business in Brazil as a member of Canton-Macau Legal & Arbitration Delegation. Lawyer ZHANG has been keeping close contact with legal professionals from different countries for several years.

Lawyer ZHANG has published a series of academic papers, including International Vision of Chinese Lawyers on Foreign-related Services, On Foreign Sovereign Immunity, On COVID-19 Investigation against WHO by the United States, On Expert Witness, Practice and Legal Risk Protection on Investments in Singapore, Comparison on Court Order Enforcement Systems in Singapore and China.
